*Rainbow Six Siege X*, having moved past its closed beta phase, is set to launch globally in June 2025 for both console and PC players. Ubisoft, the game's publisher, touts this update as the most significant content overhaul *Rainbow Six Siege* has ever seen. A key highlight in the closed beta is the introduction of the Dual Front game mode, which features intense 6-on-6 team battles.

Dual Front mode offers a more expansive and chaotic gameplay experience compared to other modes in *Rainbow Six Siege*. Larger maps require teams to strategize on which areas to attack and defend, completing objectives as they confront the opposing team. Alongside this new mode, *Siege X* will revamp several existing maps, enhance the user interface, improve the game's technical aspects, and refine the online matchmaking system to better assist new players.

On March 13, 2025, Ubisoft unveiled a gameplay trailer for *Rainbow Six Siege X* to celebrate the start of its closed beta. The trailer showcases the thrilling Dual Front mode and the action-packed 6-on-6 gameplay on its new map. It also previews enhancements to the core game, including technical upgrades, new gameplay features, and rewards for existing players. Additionally, *Siege X* offers free-to-play access for newcomers, making it easier for everyone to jump into the action.

The *Rainbow Six Siege X* closed beta ran from March 13 to March 19, exclusively accessible by select partner players on Twitch. Viewers had the chance to earn access codes to the closed beta by watching these streams during the event. To participate, players needed to link their Twitch account with their Ubisoft Connect account. Notably, ownership of *Rainbow Six Siege* was not required to join the *Siege X* closed beta.

Ubisoft has detailed all the information about the *Siege X* closed beta and how to access it on their official website. There are currently no plans for additional beta testing, including an open beta period before the full release in June 2025. As *Rainbow Six Siege* marks its tenth anniversary, *Siege X* represents the most ambitious update yet, continuing Ubisoft's tradition of delivering exciting games inspired by Tom Clancy's works.
