  • Featuring the new limited character Liang Yue and the five-star Loggerhead.

If you've been anticipating the Hong Kong cinema-inspired "Showdown in Chinatown" update for Reverse: 1999 version 2.5, the wait is finally over. Part one of the update is live, introducing both a limited-time character and a new five-star hero.

In "Showdown in Chinatown," the arcanist criminal Nightpiercer has resurfaced in Los Angeles. Officer Liang Yue is dispatched by the Vigiles Bureau to collaborate with the Division of Arcane Affairs and put an end to Nightpiercer's schemes.

Liang Yue debuts in the time-limited "Moonbeam Guardian" Dushuo Limited Banner, accompanied by a free garment for the popular character Windsong, available to all players. Alongside this, a total of 40 free pulls can be earned through event rewards and in-game activities.

Two new challenging events offer exclusive rewards. "When the Alarm Sounds" and the board game-themed "Critter Crash" will be available until the 29th, awarding limited portraits, garments, and more.

Liang Yue's traditional Chinese-style design influences other characters too, with the new "Old Stories, New Perspectives" garment series available for Jiu Niangzi, Tuesday, Sotheby, The Fool, and Windsong.

Also new is a limited-time building event where players can collect Red Envelopes by completing tasks and minigames, exchanging them for rewards such as 5-star insight coupons, portraits, and growth materials.
