Riot Games still wants its MMO, but it is not even close to the finish

Riot Games' co-founder, Marc Merrill, recently shared his vision for the future at the DICE Summit. A major focus is the upcoming League of Legends and Arcane MMO.

Merrill acknowledged the significant time commitment this ambitious MMO demands, highlighting his personal passion for the genre as a key ingredient for its potential success. He also emphasized the strong desire among League of Legends fans for deeper immersion within the beloved universe.

While specifics remain under wraps, including a release date, Merrill playfully suggested a launch before humanity's first Martian landing. The feasibility of this prediction is yet to be determined.

It's important to note that another League of Legends title, the highly anticipated 2XKO fighting game, is also in the works. Unlike the MMO, 2XKO boasts trailers and a projected release date before year's end.
