RTX 5070 Graphics Card at MSRP for Amazon Prime Members

If you've been eagerly awaiting the restocking of one of the more budget-friendly Blackwell cards, now is your chance to grab one at the list price. Amazon is currently offering the Gigabyte GeForce RTX 5070 Windforce OC 12GB Graphics Card exclusively for Amazon Prime members at $609.99, with the added benefit of free shipping. This GPU is a powerhouse for gaming at up to 1440p resolutions with high framerates and comes equipped with the latest DLSS 4 technology.

It's worth noting that the suggested launch price for a GeForce RTX 5070 card is $549.99. While there are models available at this price, they are notoriously difficult to find in stock. The Windforce OC model is priced higher due to its overclocked version, yet it remains the most competitively priced standalone RTX 5070 GPU on the market.

In terms of performance, the RTX 5070 holds its own against the RTX 4070 Super of the previous generation. While we hoped for a more substantial leap in raw performance, the RTX 4070 Super was already a stellar choice for gaming at 1080p and 1440p. It launched at $599.99, just $10 less than this Gigabyte 5070 model. However, finding an RTX 4070 Super at this price point has become nearly impossible. The RTX 5070 not only looks and performs better in games that leverage DLSS 4 and multi-frame generation but is also more future-proof, with potential improvements through driver optimizations.

Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Review by Jacqueline Thomas

"The Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 is a nuanced product. It delivers on its promise to enable gaming at 1440p with high frame rates. However, it doesn't necessarily outperform the RTX 4070 Super or other graphics cards in its price range. The inclusion of Multi Frame Generation is a significant advantage for users with high-refresh monitors, though this feature alone may not justify an upgrade for everyone."
