Holiday season leaks included purported images of the Switch 2, reinforcing the idea of a design similar to the original, but with enhancements. Images of magnetic Joy-Con controllers further fueled speculation about their tablet mode functionality.

A recent leak from journalist Laura Kate Dale, citing a BlueSky source (via VGC), showcases a purported Switch 2 charging dock. This leak also claims the Switch 2 will include a 60W charger, implying the original Switch's charger won't provide sufficient power. While charging with the older cable might be possible, it's likely to be inefficient, making a 60W cable the recommended option.

Charging Cable Compatibility Concerns
