The Sims 4 Blast from the Past event has players searching for hidden items, but one task, locating the Special Time Capsule, is proving particularly tricky. This guide explains how to find it before the event ends.

Finding the Special Time Capsule in The Sims 4's Blast from the Past Event

The Special Time Capsule from The Sims 4's Blast from the Past event. The event begins with a quest to gather information about a mysterious visitor, Emit. This involves watching TV, checking social media, and interacting with other Sims. The Special Time Capsule hunt, however, presents a unique challenge.

Clues are minimal; you're told to search for specific rocks in parks. Having spoken to Emit in Willow Creek park, this is a logical starting point. Examine rocks in the area; one will contain what looks like diamonds. Interact with it to unearth the Special Time Capsule. Note that you might need to check several rocks.

Opening the Special Time Capsule reveals an IOU note – a somewhat underwhelming reward for the search. Read the note and return to Emit to unlock further quests within the Blast from the Past event.
