Sphere Defense: A Classic Tower Defense Game for Android

Tomnoki Studio's Sphere Defense is a new tower defense game for Android, drawing inspiration from the classic geoDefense by David Whatley. The developer, a fan of the original, sought to recreate its elegantly simple yet challenging gameplay.

The Game's Story

The Earth ("The Sphere") faces imminent destruction from alien invaders. Humanity, forced underground, develops new technology to fight back. After years of setbacks, they finally amass sufficient firepower to launch a counteroffensive, and you lead the charge to save the planet.

Gameplay

Sphere Defense faithfully delivers the classic tower defense experience. Players strategically deploy various units, each with unique strengths, to repel waves of enemies. Successful engagements provide resources for expansion and upgrades. The challenge increases significantly with higher difficulty levels.

The game offers three difficulty settings (easy, normal, hard), each with 10 stages lasting 5 to 15 minutes. See the gameplay in action below!

Diverse Turrets for Strategic Combat

Sphere Defense features seven distinct unit types, offering strategic deployment options. Attack units include the Standard Attack Turret (single-target), Area Attack Turret (area-of-effect), and Piercing Attack Turret (for multiple enemies in a line).

Support units like the Cooling Turret and Incendiary Turret enhance the effectiveness of attack units. Specialized attack units, such as the Fixed-Point Attack Unit (precise missile strikes) and Linear Attack Unit (satellite laser attacks), add further tactical depth.

Download Sphere Defense from the Google Play Store and experience the thrill of this classic tower defense game. Also, be sure to check out our latest news on CarX Drift Racing 3 on Android!
