Released recently on Steam, Split Fiction's success significantly surpasses other EA-published titles. SteamDB data reveals a peak player count exceeding 197,000 users—the highest ever recorded for a paid EA game on the platform. This dwarfs the previous record-holder, Battlefield V, which peaked at 116,000 players. While EA's free-to-play Apex Legends remains the most popular title with over 620,000 peak players, Split Fiction's achievement is a remarkable feat for a paid game.

Beyond its commercial triumph, Split Fiction has garnered overwhelmingly positive player reviews on Steam, boasting a remarkable 98% approval rating. This underscores not only its financial success but also its widespread appeal and critical acclaim among gamers globally.
