Streamer Completes FromSoftware

FromSoftware games are renowned for their challenging nature. Streamer Kai Cenat's experience with Elden Ring, where he died over a thousand times just to complete it, underscores the difficulty level. This makes the achievements of players who embrace even tougher challenges all the more remarkable.

Streamer Dinossindgeil has etched his name into gaming history by becoming the first person to successfully complete the God Run 3 SL1 challenge. This grueling feat involves finishing seven FromSoftware games consecutively without leveling up or taking a single hit. Dinossindgeil dedicated nearly two years to this endeavor, and when he finally vanquished the Soul of Cinder, the final boss in Dark Souls III, the emotional weight of his achievement overwhelmed him, leading to tears of joy and relief.

The God Run 3 SL1 challenge is widely regarded as the most formidable within the FromSoftware community. The rules are strict: complete seven games in a row without leveling up and without taking any damage. If the player suffers even a single hit, they must restart the entire challenge from the beginning, regardless of their progress.

Dinossindgeil's journey to complete this challenge was fraught with numerous attempts. In the summer of 2024, a run was cut short due to a bug in Dark Souls II, where an arrow unexpectedly passed through a wall. At that point, he had already conquered Elden Ring and Dark Souls I, but the rules forced him to start over from the very beginning.

It will be fascinating to see how FromSoftware responds to this monumental achievement. What's clear is that Dinossindgeil has not only overcome one of the most daunting challenges in gaming but has also cemented his legacy in the annals of gaming history.
