Techland Expands Dying Light 2 with Free Tower Raid Roguelite Mode

Techland expands the Dying Light 2 experience with Tower Raid, a thrilling roguelite mode offering unpredictable gameplay and intense survival challenges. Following extensive testing, this highly anticipated mode is now live, providing a completely new way to explore the infected world.

Forget Aiden Caldwell; in Tower Raid, you choose from four unique warrior classes—Tank, Brawler, Ranger, and Specialist—each with distinct abilities encouraging diverse playstyles and strategic teamwork. For the ultimate test of skill, tackle the tower solo or with a reduced team size.

Three difficulty levels—Quick, Normal, and Elite—adjust the intensity and run length. Procedurally generated levels ensure every climb is unique, with constantly shifting layouts and enemy encounters demanding adaptability.

A fresh progression system ensures failure fuels success. Each attempt unlocks new abilities and weapons, steadily increasing your chances of victory. At the tower's peak awaits Sola, a mysterious merchant offering rare rewards such as the Office Day Outfit, Kuai Dagger, and Silenced Pistol to worthy survivors.

While preparing for the launch of Dying Light: The Beast, Techland remains dedicated to enhancing Dying Light 2 throughout 2025. Future updates include improved co-op, refined matchmaking, enhanced community map integration, additional Tower Raid characters, new melee and ranged weapons, a new weapon class, prologue improvements, and significant graphical and technical optimizations.
