Top-Down Action Roguelike Shadow of the Depth Launches Open Beta on Android

ChillyRoom's highly anticipated action roguelike, Shadow of the Depth, is currently in open beta on Android! Best of all, there's no data wipe, meaning your progress will carry over to the official release. This is a great opportunity to experience the game, provide feedback, and retain your achievements.

Developed by the creators of popular titles like Soul Knight and Meow Hunter, Shadow of the Depth is slated for a December 2024 launch. Currently, the open beta is limited to select regions.

Open Beta Availability:

The open beta is live in the U.S., Canada, Brazil, UK, India, Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, New Zealand, and the Philippines. It's free to download and play. A full release is expected later this year for all other regions.

Beta Rewards:

Players who log in during the open beta period (until December 5th) will receive 200 diamonds as a thank you for their participation.

Gameplay Overview:

Shadow of the Depth blends classic action roguelike mechanics with a medieval fantasy setting. Players assume the role of Arthur, a blacksmith's son seeking revenge against the monsters that destroyed his village. He'll be joined by swordsmen, hunters, and mages in their descent into a monster-infested abyss.

Expect intense combat, treacherous trap-laden dungeons, challenging bosses, and extensive customization options. With over 140 passive skills and a robust talent system, players can tailor their gameplay experience. The game features single-player mode with controller support.

Download the open beta from the Google Play Store or pre-register now! Also, check out our other news on the fantasy turn-based RPG, Grimguard Tactics, available on Android.
