A new game-changer has hit the scene in *Call of Duty: Black Ops 6*: the Buffer Weight Stock. This attachment is turning certain weapons into powerhouses, but it's not your typical unlock. Here’s the lowdown on how to unlock and equip this coveted piece of gear in *Black Ops 6*.

Unlocking the Buffer Weight Stock isn't about grinding levels; instead, you'll need to dive into The Hit List event. Head over to the main menu of *Black Ops 6* Multiplayer, and click on the “Event” tab. Inside, you'll find all the details about the current happenings. Navigate to the “Community” section, and you'll spot the Buffer Weight Stock waiting to be unlocked.

The *Black Ops 6* community worked together to unlock this attachment through eliminations. It took a whopping eight billion eliminations to reach the milestone, which has already been surpassed. So, all you need to do now is visit the page to claim your Buffer Weight Stock. However, using it in Multiplayer is a whole different ball game.

Unfortunately, the Buffer Weight Stock isn't compatible with every weapon. It's limited to just three: the XM4 Assault Rifle, the DM-10 Marksman Rifle, and the XMG Light Machine Gun. While this might be a letdown for some, the attachment's significant boost to accuracy makes it a game-changer in Multiplayer. If it were available on all weapons, it might just take over the game.

For those lucky enough to use one of these eligible weapons, equipping the Buffer Weight Stock is straightforward. Just like any other Stock attachment, you can find it in the Gunsmith menu. Add it to your build and you're ready to rack up kills and contribute to unlocking the rest of The Hit List rewards.

And that's how you unlock and equip the Buffer Weight Stock in *Call of Duty: Black Ops 6*.

*Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone are available now on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.*
