Urshifu and Gigantamax Machamp Debut at Pokémon GO

As the Might and Mastery season in Pokémon GO nears its conclusion, trainers are gearing up for the thrilling Final Strike: GO Battle Week, set to commence on May 21st, 2025, and run through to May 27th. This climactic week promises to bring your journey with Kubfu to a rewarding culmination.

What’s in Store during the Final Strike: GO Battle Week?

After weeks of dedication and battles, the time has come to evolve your Kubfu into the legendary Urshifu, available in two distinct forms. The path you choose will determine Kubfu's transformation: for the Single Strike style, set Kubfu as your buddy and defeat 30 Dark-type Pokémon in raids or Max Battles. If you prefer the Rapid Strike style, engage and triumph over 30 Water-type Pokémon during the Final Strike: GO Battle Week.

Alongside the evolution quest, a Special Research will continue the Seasonal storyline, available until June 3rd, 2025. This research offers Kubfu Candy, Mysterious Components, and encounters with themed Pokémon like Charcadet, complete with a Special Background, enriching your Pokémon GO experience.

May 25th Is a Special Day

Mark your calendars for May 25th, as it's the Gigantamax Machamp Max Battle Day. From 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time, witness the debut of Gigantamax Machamp in six-star Max Battles. This event comes packed with enticing bonuses: you'll need to travel only one-fourth the usual distance to earn Max Particles, and your Max Particle storage capacity will increase to 1,600. Every Power Spot will host Gigantamax Battles, yielding 8× Max Particles during this period, and you'll have the opportunity for two additional Special Trades.

Don't miss out on collecting Max Mushrooms during this time. These valuable items temporarily double the damage output of your Dynamax or Gigantamax Pokémon. You can stack multiple mushrooms to extend the duration, although the power boost remains consistent.

Prepare for the Final Strike: GO Battle Week by downloading Pokémon GO from the Google Play Store and get ready for an exhilarating finale to the Might and Mastery season.
