Watch Dogs Mobile: Ubisoft Series Arrives

Author : Liam Mar 12,2025

Watch Dogs, Ubisoft's acclaimed series of hacker-centric third-person shooters, is venturing into the mobile realm! Well, sort of. A new interactive audio adventure, Watch Dogs: Truth, has just launched on Audible. This unique experience lets you shape the narrative by making crucial decisions that guide Dedsec's next move.

Ubisoft's enduring franchise, love it or hate it, remains a cornerstone of their lineup. This mobile debut, however, isn't a traditional game port. Instead, Watch Dogs: Truth offers a classic choose-your-own-adventure style experience through audio. Available now on Audible, players navigate a near-future London, facing a new threat alongside the ever-helpful AI, Bagley. Bagley guides your choices, shaping the story after each episode.

This format, reminiscent of the early choose-your-own-adventure books (dating back to the 1930s!), presents a fresh take on the Watch Dogs universe. Dedsec, once again at odds with authorities, must overcome a formidable challenge.

Interestingly, the Watch Dogs franchise and Clash of Clans share a similar age. This makes the series' relatively late arrival on mobile, in this unique format, somewhat surprising. However, the concept of audio adventures holds significant potential, and this major franchise adaptation warrants attention.

The unconventional approach and seemingly understated marketing for Watch Dogs: Truth are noteworthy. Nevertheless, anticipation remains high to see how this audio adventure resonates with players. We'll be watching closely!
