Zenless Zone Zero Is Dropping Version 1.6 ‘Among the Forgotten Ruins’ Soon

HoYoverse has unveiled details for Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.6, "Among the Forgotten Ruins," launching March 12th and bringing a thrilling new chapter to New Eridu. This update significantly expands the story and introduces exciting new characters and gameplay features.

What's Happening in Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.6?

Version 1.6 throws Proxies into a high-stakes auction orchestrated by the Mayor, forcing them to compete for a mysterious artifact linked to the Sacrifice. Adding to the intrigue, the Mockingbird, a phantom thief syndicate, attempts to sabotage the Mayor's plans. Other factions also vie for control of the artifact, creating a complex web of alliances and betrayals. Furthermore, Hugo and Vivian's suspicious behavior leaves players questioning their allegiances. Watch the trailer below for a sneak peek!

Version 1.6 also introduces Anby Demara, a new S-Rank Electric Attack Agent. Formerly known as Soldier 0, leader of Silver Squad, Anby wields dual swords, unleashing devastating electric damage. Joining her is Trigger, an S-Rank Electric Stun Agent and ace sniper from Obol Squad. Trigger utilizes Sniper Mode to dodge attacks and deliver precise shots, setting up teammates for Quick Assists.

Character Returns and New Challenges

Several popular characters are making a comeback, including Pulchra Fellini (A-Rank Physical Stun Agent), Burnice (S-Rank Fire Anomaly Agent), and Zhuyuan (S-Rank Ether Attack Agent), all returning with rerun banners. A new boss, Geppetto, emerges in Hollow Zero.

The update also introduces Difficulty VI in Battlefront Purge, testing players' skills to the limit. The new Hollow Zero gameplay mode, Shadow Operation, adds dynamic special effects to each battle stage, such as damage boosts based on accumulated coins. Trigger's TV Schedule offers a unique third-person sniper gameplay experience, while "March On, Tiny Titan!" and "Little Knight's Big Charge" feature Bangboo drone challenges with rewards like playable Pulchra.
