Zenless Zone Zero Leak Teases New Event for Version 1.5

A leaked Zenless Zone Zero update reveals a new event featuring a Fall Guys-style multiplayer platformer game mode for Version 1.5, slated for a late January release. This temporary event, tentatively titled "Grand Marcel," will offer a refreshing change of pace from the primarily battle-focused gameplay introduced in Version 1.4.

Version 1.4 included two new playable characters and an S-Rank Bangboo, along with two permanent battle modes. However, Zenless Zone Zero frequently incorporates limited-time events with unique gameplay mechanics, such as the current "Bangboo vs Ethereal" tower defense event.

The leaked screenshots from community leaker Palito showcase stages strikingly similar to Fall Guys. While the event's duration is expected to be temporary, rewards are rumored to include Polychromes and additional free pulls. It remains unclear whether players will control their usual characters or Bangboo within the platformer stages.

This isn't HoYoverse's first foray into platformer events; Honkai Impact 3rd's 6.1 update in 2022 featured a similar "Midnight Chronicle" event. Given the popularity of Bangboo in Zenless Zone Zero (featured in Hollow Zero mode), their inclusion in this event is a strong possibility.

Version 1.5, launching January 22nd, will also introduce the highly anticipated Astra Yao and Evelyn, along with potential additions like Nicole's first character skin and Ellen's Agent Story. The platformer event promises a fun, engaging diversion alongside these significant additions.
