Clapperboard offers a unique service that allows you to record videos using any camera, including CCTV, web, action, or built-in drone cameras, and confirm their authenticity and authorship through blockchain technology. To utilize this service, follow these steps:
Create an Account and Fund It: Start by setting up your own account on Clapperboard and ensure you have a sufficient balance to proceed.
Comment the Video: Add a comment to your video. This comment will be part of the authentication process.
Request a QR-Code: Request a unique QR-code from Clapperboard, which will be used to verify the video's authenticity.
Record the QR-Code: When recording your video, make sure to show the QR-code on camera. This step links the video to the blockchain.
Blockchain Integration: The QR-code and your comment will be permanently recorded on the NEM blockchain, ensuring the video's authenticity.
Obtain the Video: After recording, you will receive the video from your camera with the QR-code embedded.
To confirm that the video has not been modified and was created after the QR-code was generated, you need to:
- Upload to Prover.io: Upload the video segment containing the QR-code to the http://product.prover.io/ service. Upon successful verification, you will receive a Certificate of Authenticity detailing the video's integrity.
