- The SmartTyre Car & Bike app requires Bluetooth to be enabled. It utilizes Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), minimizing battery drain.
- The SmartTyre Car & Bike app requires location services to be enabled. It does not use GPS; instead, it uses BLE to locate sensors.
- While continued background GPS use can reduce battery life, SmartTyre Car & Bike only uses background GPS when explicitly permitted by the user for optional features requiring this functionality.
