Microsoft's Apology Resolves Enotria Xbox Release Delays

Jyamma Games Expresses Gratitude to Phil Spencer and Fans

Following reports of a two-month delay in Xbox certification for their debut title, Enotria: The Last Song, Jyamma Games received a formal apology from Microsoft. The developer's earlier frustration, expressed on Discord, stemmed from what appeared to be a prolonged period of silence from Microsoft. Jyamma CEO Jacky Greco had voiced concern, stating that the company felt ignored and that the Xbox port, which involved significant investment, was stalled.

However, a swift apology from Microsoft, specifically acknowledging Phil Spencer's involvement, changed the situation. Jyamma Games publicly thanked Microsoft and Phil Spencer's team for their prompt response and assistance on Twitter (X). The studio also highlighted the significant support from the player community, emphasizing the impact of player advocacy.

"We're now collaborating closely with Microsoft," Jyamma Games confirmed, "working toward an Xbox release as soon as possible."

Jyamma Games isn't alone in facing Xbox release challenges; Funcom recently reported optimization difficulties porting Dune: Awakening to the Xbox Series S. While the PS5 and PC versions of Enotria: The Last Song are still slated for September 19th, the Xbox release date remains uncertain. For more on Enotria: The Last Song, follow the link below!
