Town of Salem is an immersive game of murder, accusations, deceit, and mob hysteria that promises a thrilling experience with each playthrough. Whether you're strategizing as part of the Town, plotting as a member of the Mafia, or lurking as a Serial Killer or Arsonist, every game brings new challenges and opportunities for deception.

How to Play

Designed for 7 to 15 players, Town of Salem randomly assigns players into various alignments: Town (the good guys), Mafia, Serial Killers, Arsonists, and Neutrals. As a Town member, your mission is to uncover and eliminate the Mafia and other villains before they take you down. The twist? You won't know who's on your side until it's too late. If you're cast as an evil role, like a Serial Killer, your goal is to covertly eliminate Town members under the cover of night while dodging detection.

Roles

With 33 unique roles, Town of Salem ensures a fresh experience every time you dive in. Before the game kicks off, players gather in a lobby where the host can tailor the roles that will be in play. Once the game begins, each player is randomly assigned a role from the selected pool, and they receive a role card detailing their abilities and alignment. Game Phases

Night

The night phase is when the game's most secretive actions occur. Serial Killers silently take out targets, Doctors work to save those attacked, and Sheriffs investigate for any signs of foul play.

Day

During the day phase, Town members gather to discuss their suspicions and pinpoint potential villains. As the voting phase begins, a majority vote can lead to a trial for the accused.

Defense

In the defense phase, the accused gets a chance to argue their innocence. A compelling defense can mean the difference between life and swinging from the gallows.

Judgement

The judgement phase is the moment of truth, where the Town votes on the accused's fate. Players can vote guilty, innocent, or abstain. If the guilty votes outweigh the innocent ones, the accused faces execution by hanging.

Customization

Town of Salem allows players to personalize their experience. From choosing your town setting and character to selecting pets, lobby icons, death animations, houses, and even a custom name, your selections are visible to other players, adding a personal touch to every game.

Achievements

With over 200 unique achievements, players have plenty of goals to aim for. Earning these achievements not only adds to your prestige but also rewards you with various in-game items, enhancing your gameplay and customization options.
