Tute Cabrero is a widely enjoyed card game across South America.
Played by 3 to 5 individuals in a free-for-all format, Tute Cabrero involves no team alliances.
The goal is to either score the highest or lowest points (known as "go to more" or "go to less"), while the second-place player loses. The game uses a 40-card Spanish deck.
Card rankings (highest to lowest): Ace (11 points), 3 (10 points), King (4), Knight (3), Jack (2), followed by 7, 6, 5, 4, and 2 (which carry no point value).
The first card played sets the suit for each trick. Players must follow suit if possible; otherwise, they may play any card. The trump suit automatically wins the trick. Without trumps, the highest card of the initial suit takes the trick.
