Reviving Teammates in R.E.P.O.: A Guide

Playing games with friends can transform a good gaming session into a great one. However, in a game like *R.E.P.O.*, where the monsters are formidable, even the best players can become the squad's weak link at times. Thankfully, *R.E.P.O.* offers a unique mechanic where team members can take turns needing help, making the game's cooperative nature shine. Here’s a comprehensive guide on how to revive your teammates in *R.E.P.O.* after they've been taken down.

What To Do If a Teammate Dies in R.E.P.O.

When you start a round in *R.E.P.O.*, your health bar is at a full 100. Throughout the game, you might take damage from monsters or even from your own items, like Human Grenades. To counteract this, you can use Health Packs found at the Service Station. Another unique feature is the ability to share health with your teammates by simply walking over to them and interacting with their health bar. This cooperative mechanic can be a game-changer, though it's a topic for another discussion.

Despite these methods to stay healthy, the monsters in *R.E.P.O.* can sometimes ramp up their attacks and take down members of your squad. When this happens, you have two options: wait for the inevitable or take action. After a teammate dies, their head falls to the ground, which you can pick up. Keep an eye on where your ally falls or check the map, where a small icon in the same color as their character will indicate the head's location. However, retrieving the head is just the first step.

Where To Revive Teammates in R.E.P.O.

Once you have the head in your inventory, make your way to the extraction point. Place the head on the point, and if you've met the round's loot requirement (which you can check at the top right of your screen), your teammate will respawn with 1 HP. To help them regain some strength, they can enter the truck to gain additional health, ensuring they're not a liability to the squad. From there, it's back to business as usual. However, if you can't retrieve the head, there's another way to revive your fallen comrades.

If you're unable to reach your squad member's head, starting a new round will also bring them back. This method is reminiscent of *Call of Duty* Zombies, where dead players return at the start of a new round. While this approach leaves you at a disadvantage for the remainder of the round, it can be beneficial, especially if someone is new to the game. It gives them a chance to observe and learn from more experienced players, avoiding high-pressure situations.

And that's how you can revive teammates in *R.E.P.O.*. For more tips, check out what Energy Crystals do in this horror game and how to acquire more. *R.E.P.O.* is currently available on PC.
