Using the App and Reader with the Same Sensor

When using the FreeStyle Libre 2 system, you can receive alarms either on the FreeStyle Libre 2 reader or your smartphone, but not both simultaneously. To get notifications on your phone, start the sensor with the app. Conversely, to receive alerts on the reader, initiate the sensor using the reader. Note that data is not shared between the app and the reader. To ensure comprehensive data, scan the sensor with the device you are using every 8 hours; otherwise, your reports may be incomplete.
