"A Perfect Day: Relive 1999 in Time-Loop Puzzle"

Littoral Games introduces A Perfect Day Pocket – Go back to 1999, a new Android title that carries the same cozy vibe as their previous hits, Growing Up and Chinese Parents. The game boasts a similar art style to Growing Up, featuring water-coloured hand-painted visuals that beautifully narrate the story on their own.

To celebrate its launch, A Perfect Day – Go back to 1999 is available at a special price of $1.99 from February 27th to March 5th. After the launch week, the price will increase to $2.99 on Android. If you pre-registered for the game, you can claim an exclusive Panda Quake Mini 4WD by visiting Brother Cao at the Youth Palace. Additionally, a limited-time Easter egg, the Old Uniform, can be found in 'My Bedroom' until March 26th.

What's the Premise of A Perfect Day – Go Back to 1999?

As the title suggests, A Perfect Day – Go Back to 1999 transports you to the year 1999, a signature setting of Littoral Games known for their nostalgic tales set in the 90s and early 2000s. In this game, you experience a time-loop narrative puzzle set on the last day of 1999.

The game is structured around seven time segments, eleven main characters, twenty event cards, and one free DLC. You play as an elementary schoolboy caught in a time loop reminiscent of Groundhog Day. Your mission is to relive December 31st, 1999, uncovering secrets about classmates, friends, and family while striving to help them achieve their 'perfect day.'

Repeat, Revisit, and Rewrite

The core of A Perfect Day – Go Back to 1999 revolves around themes of memories, regrets, and choices. You can revisit childhood friendships, delve into the lives of young parents, and make decisions that alter the narrative. The story unfolds in an interconnected manner, allowing for different outcomes with each repetition of the day.

The game also features various mini-games, such as a Mini 4WD race, a Gamicom console, and an arcade, which authentically capture the essence of 90s gaming. With its interactive storytelling and nostalgic visuals, A Perfect Day – Go Back to 1999 is definitely worth exploring.

You can find A Perfect Day Pocket – Go back to 1999 on the Google Play Store. For a glimpse of the game, check out the trailer below:
