Application Description

Experience a revolutionary approach to managing your diabetes with the MiniMed™ insulin pump and continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) system. Introducing a more discreet and user-friendly solution that enhances your ability to monitor and manage your condition seamlessly.

With the MiniMed™ Mobile app, you can now view critical insulin pump and CGM data directly on your smartphone. This app allows you to gain a deeper understanding of your glucose levels and review historical data, helping you to track how your levels are trending over time.

The app facilitates automatic uploads to the CareLink™ software, simplifying the process of sharing your data with healthcare providers and care partners.

Key features of the app include:

  • An easy-to-use secondary display
  • Insulin pump system notifications directly on your smartphone
  • Data presented in a format consistent with your MiniMed™ insulin pump system interface
  • Access to both past and current insulin pump and CGM data

IMPORTANT: The MiniMed™ Mobile app is compatible exclusively with the MiniMed™ 700-series insulin pump system, which is designed to communicate wirelessly with compatible smart devices. To check the list of compatible devices, please visit your local Medtronic website. Note that this app is not compatible with other MiniMed™ or Paradigm™ insulin pumps. For more details on the MiniMed™ Mobile app, visit your local Medtronic website.

The MiniMed™ Mobile app serves as a secondary display for a compatible MiniMed™ insulin pump system on a consumer electronic device, facilitating passive monitoring and data synchronization with the CareLink™ system. It is not meant to replace the real-time display of CGM or insulin pump data on the primary device (the insulin pump itself). All therapeutic decisions should be based on the data shown on the primary display device.

The app does not analyze or modify the received CGM or insulin pump data, nor does it control any function of the connected CGM system or insulin pump. It does not receive information directly from the sensor or transmitter of a CGM system.

For technical or customer service issues, do not use this app store as your initial point of contact. To ensure your privacy and expedite resolution, please contact the local Medtronic support line for any issues related to Medtronic products.

The MiniMed™ Mobile app is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult your physician or a qualified healthcare provider for any questions about your medical condition or treatment.

Medtronic may need to follow up with customers regarding product-related complaints. If your comment or complaint requires further investigation, a Medtronic team member will reach out to you for additional information.
