Get ready, Pokémon Go trainers! The February Community Day event details are here, featuring Karrablast and Shelmet! This exciting event runs from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time on February 9th, 2025.

Featured Pokémon:

Karrablast and Shelmet will be appearing more frequently in the wild, increasing your chances of encountering them – and even their Shiny forms! The real reward? Evolving these Pokémon during the event (or until 10:00 p.m. local time on February 16th) yields powerful results.

• Evolving Karrablast gets you an Escavalier knowing the Charged Attack Razor Shell (35 power in Trainer Battles, 55 power in Gyms/Raids).
• Evolving Shelmet grants you an Accelgor with the Charged Attack Energy Ball (a hefty 90 power in all battle types).

Special Research and Timed Research:

A Special Research taskline will reward encounters with Karrablast and Shelmet featuring special Dual Destiny-themed backgrounds, a Premium Battle Pass, and a Rare Candy XL. A week-long Timed Research event follows the main event, providing additional encounters with these Pokémon and their special backgrounds upon login during Community Day.

Community Day Bonuses:

Prepare for boosted rewards! Enjoy 3x XP for catching Pokémon, double Candy, and a 2x chance for Candy XL (Trainers level 31 and above). Lure Modules and Incense (excluding Daily Adventure Incense) will last three hours. Plus, a photo-based surprise awaits!
