Disney Mirrorverse Announces EOS By The End Of This Year

Disney Mirrorverse, the mobile action RPG featuring a unique blend of Disney and Pixar characters, is shutting down. Developer Kabam announced the game's End of Service (EOS) date as December 16th, 2024.

The game has already been removed from the Google Play Store, and all in-app purchases are disabled. Players have approximately three months remaining to enjoy the game before the servers are permanently closed.

A Look Back at Disney Mirrorverse

Launched in June 2022, Disney Mirrorverse offered players the chance to battle alongside reimagined Disney and Pixar heroes. While initially met with enthusiasm, the game's long beta period and inconsistent updates led to player attrition.

The game's challenging shard collection system, requiring significant time or spending to fully develop characters, also contributed to its struggles. However, the game's character designs and graphics consistently received praise.

The abrupt EOS announcement, following a recent content update including Cinderella as a new character, surprised many players. This isn't Kabam's first EOS announcement; they previously shut down Transformers: Forged to Fight and a Marvel Contest of Champions spin-off.
