Physics-Based Android Game

A new physics-based mobile game has arrived on Android, featuring aliens and UFOs. Drop Zone Galaxy, developed by the independent Rabble Games Studio, puts a fresh spin on the classic alien abduction theme.

The game initially launched on itch.io in October 2024 and is now available on the Google Play Store in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand. It is free to play.

The Premise of Drop Zone Galaxy

In Drop Zone Galaxy, abducted humans become unwilling participants in an intergalactic game show. You take control of a UFO, dropping humans from above with the goal of landing them on specific targets. They'll ragdoll unpredictably through a series of obstacles along the way.

This physics-based challenge is all about mastering the bounces, throws, and teleportations across approximately 60 levels, referred to as episodes. Precision is key to collecting coins, hitting every target, and earning a three-star rating on each stage.

Accumulating stars unlocks greater rewards. Higher scores, for instance, earn you more in-game currency to spend at the UFO shop, where you can purchase cosmetic upgrades for your flying saucer.

Simple Controls, Chaotic Fun

Drop Zone Galaxy features minimalistic controls; a single tap releases a human, but timing is crucial. The audio enhances the experience with comical screams from the falling humans and a variety of thuds as they collide with alien machinery.

If you're looking for a lighthearted and entertaining game, you can download Drop Zone Galaxy from the Google Play Store. This is the second release from Rabble Games Studio, which also has plans to venture into tabletop games. We're excited to see what they create next.
