Get ready for a Legendary Flight in Pokémon Go! Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres are making their Dynamax debuts.

From January 20th to February 3rd, these powerful avian Pokémon will appear in Dynamax form during special Max Battle events. This exciting addition to the recently introduced Max Battles offers a unique opportunity to encounter these legendary creatures.

The Schedule:

  • January 20th: Dynamax Articuno takes flight.
  • January 27th: Dynamax Zapdos electrifies the battles.
  • February 3rd: Dynamax Moltres ignites the skies.

Each Dynamax Pokémon will initially appear in all Max Raids at PokéStops for one day. Following their initial appearance, they will continue to be available in Max Raids at select PokéStops for a week.

These five-star Max Battles offer a chance to catch these formidable Pokémon, and even their Shiny variants! Remember, each legendary bird has a limited appearance window, so plan your battles accordingly.

Beyond the legendary trio, other Pokémon will also participate in Max Battles:

  • January 20th - 27th: Charmander, Beldum, and Scorbunny.
  • January 27th - February 3rd: Bulbasaur, Cryogonal, and Grookey.
  • February 3rd onwards: Squirtle, Krabby, and Sobble.

Need extra supplies? The Pokémon Go Web Store currently offers a Max Particle Pack bundle (4,800 Max Particles) for $7.99. Max Particles are crucial for participating in Max Battles, increasing your chances of catching these legendary Pokémon. Don't forget to redeem your Pokémon Go codes for additional bonuses!
