The upcoming Developer_Direct presentation, just two days away, appears to have had its biggest surprise spoiled. A major French gaming site, Gamekult, prematurely published an article revealing a May 15th release date for the highly anticipated DOOM: The Dark Ages. While the article was swiftly removed, its presence was briefly captured in the site's RSS feed.

This leak corroborates earlier reports from insider NateTheHate, who also predicted a May release for DOOM: The Dark Ages. The convergence of these two sources strongly suggests a May launch is indeed planned.

Microsoft is expected to officially announce DOOM: The Dark Ages this Thursday during their Developer_Direct showcase. This medieval-themed prequel to the modern DOOM duology promises to maintain the series' signature brutal, hellish action.
