Free Fire to debut new Winterlands: Aurora event to mark the festive season

Author : Hazel Jan 07,2025

Free Fire's Winterlands 2024 update brings a frosty chill to the battlegrounds! This exciting update introduces Koda, a new character with unique arctic abilities, and innovative movement mechanics.

Koda, wielding a mystical fox mask, possesses "Aurora Vision," granting him enhanced enemy detection and mobility. This allows him to spot hidden enemies and highlight enemy positions during parachuting.

The star of the show is "Frosty Tracks"—icy rails that let players dash across the map while shooting, turning, and using throwables. These tracks, appearing in both Battle Royale and Clash Squad modes, also feature Coin Machines dispensing 100 FF coins.

Winterlands 2024 also features Aurora Events in both game modes. In Battle Royale, find aurora-affected Coin Machines; in Clash Squad, locate aurora-affected Supply Gadgets. Completing event quests by interacting with these items provides buffs for the entire team.
