Garena's Free Fire, the beloved mobile battle royale, is gearing up for another thrilling esports spectacle at the Esports World Cup (EWC) 2025 in Riyadh, boasting a hefty $1 million prize pool. As part of a multi-year agreement with EWC, fans can anticipate Free Fire's presence at the event again in 2026.

Mark your calendars for July 16th to 20th, where 18 elite Free Fire squads will clash for supremacy. The competition kicks off with a group stage, dividing the teams into three groups of six. The top twelve teams will advance to the Point-Rush stage, leading into the Grand Final, which will employ the match point format to determine the ultimate champion. An additional $10,000 awaits the tournament's Most Valuable Player (MVP).

Reflecting on last year, Team Falcons made history as the inaugural Free Fire champions at the EWC. Despite a sluggish start in the Point-Rush phase, they surged in the finals with two clutch Booyahs, securing the trophy and a spot at the World Series in Rio.

Qualifiers are in full swing, with FFWS SEA concluding on June 14th, granting eight teams passage to Riyadh. LATAM will send two teams by June 1st, Brazil will contribute four by June 22nd, and one team each from Pakistan, the FF MSC, and Bangladesh will qualify. As defending champions, Team Falcons earn an automatic return.

Do you think you have what it takes to compete? Download Free Fire now from your preferred platform and visit the official website for more details.
