Genshin, GTA, ZZZ Hybrid Release Approved by China

Project Mugen, now titled Ananta, is gearing up for a full launch after generating significant buzz with its initial promotional materials. The game blends elements reminiscent of popular titles like Genshin Impact, Zenless Zone Zero, and even GTA, all presented within a captivating anime aesthetic.

Ananta's 2025 release on PC, PlayStation 5, and mobile devices has been greenlit in China. A December 5th trailer showcased the game as an open-world urban RPG set in the sun-kissed coastal city of Nova, where players take on the role of an A.C.D. agent, uncovering mysteries and embarking on thrilling explorations.

This ambitious project, a collaboration between NetEase Studios, Thunder Fire Studio, and Naked Rain, is attracting global interest thanks to its unique blend of familiar environments infused with supernatural elements.

Key features highlighted for Ananta include four-player team-based battles, a striking art style, and fluid, high-speed movement.
