As Genshin Impact's Natlan Archon Quest approaches its conclusion, players face their most formidable challenge yet - the Lord of Eroded Primal Fire. This fiery weekly boss continues Teyvat's tradition of introducing devastating dragon encounters with each new region.
Unlike previous weekly bosses, this dual-sword-wielding dragon incorporates corrosive Abyssal magic reminiscent of Inazuma's Riftwolves. While the battle proves exceptionally difficult, proper preparation and strategy can lead to victory. Here's everything you need to conquer Natlan's ultimate combat trial.
Where To Find The Lord Of Eroded Primal Fire In Genshin Impact
Journey to Stone Stele Records - a domain south of the Masters of the Night-Wind tribe's Statue of Seven. This memorial shrine commemorates Natlan's fallen warriors and serves as the arena for this epic showdown.
To access the domain normally, complete the Archon Quest finale "When All Becomes A Monument." Alternatively, use the Quick Challenge feature in the Adventurer's Handbook to bypass story requirements.
How To Beat The Lord Of Eroded Primal Fire In Genshin Impact
This battle heavily favors Natlan's native characters. Mavuika, Kinich, Citlali and other regional fighters provide essential Nightsoul Blessings needed to counter the dragon's deadliest attacks.
During combat, the boss summons three destructive pillars protected by Tenebrous Mimiflora. Only Nightsoul-enhanced warriors can efficiently dismantle these structures before the dragon's devastating Eroded Meteor strike.
Essential: Destroy The Three Nightsoul-Blessed Pillars
While any character can damage these pillars, Nightsoul-blessed Natlan characters dramatically accelerate the destruction process. Successfully breaking all three pillars stuns the dragon for approximately 10 seconds - your prime damage window.
If pillars remain when the meteor animation begins, immediately activate shields and focus on healing. The ensuing Erosion damage penetrates shields and can instantly defeat unprotected characters. Top-tier healers like Kokomi or Furina prove invaluable, though Barbara or Bennett work adequately.
Positioning Strategy: Stay Under The Dragon
This boss employs erratic movement patterns and devastating area-of-effect sword attacks. When the dragon begins its destructive battlefield carving, position yourself beneath its body for relative safety while maintaining damage output.
Beware its Eroded Dragon Breath - a dual-sword impalement releasing waves of Pyro and Erosion damage. Stick close to its hands as this creates a safe zone during this attack. Constant healing remains mandatory throughout all phases to counter accumulating Erosion effects.
Team Up Through Co-Op Mode
Lacking strong Natlan characters? The Match function provides the perfect solution. Coordinated teams can efficiently handle pillar phases while sharing healing responsibilities. Though the battle lacks multiple phases, its extended duration and high-damage mechanics make cooperation invaluable.
