"World of Goo 2: Mobile Physics Puzzles Launched"

After an eagerly anticipated wait, the beloved puzzle game World of Goo has returned with its full sequel, World of Goo 2, now available on mobile devices. Developed by 2DBOY and Tomorrow Corporation, the game has also launched on Android, Steam, PlayStation 5, and iOS, bringing the gooey fun to a wider audience.

A Ton of New Stuff

World of Goo 2 Mobile introduces a plethora of exciting new features, including over 30 additional achievements to unlock. A notable addition is the options menu, marking a first for any game developed by 2DBOY or Tomorrow Corporation.

The original World of Goo, released on Windows in October 2008, allowed players to construct bizarre bridges and towers using goo balls, challenging them to overcome physics and gravity. In the sequel, players can now interact with realistic flowing, splashing, and viscous liquid, controlling it like a river, converting it into Goo Balls, extinguishing fires, and tackling even more absurd puzzles.

World of Goo 2 Mobile also introduces new types of Goo, such as Jelly Goo, Liquid Launchers, Growing Goo, Shrinking Goo, Explosive Goo, and many other unique species. Players will have a blast experimenting with how these different Goo types interact and work together.

There Are a Lot of Levels to Chew Through in the World of Goo 2 Mobile

The game unfolds a new narrative across five chapters, featuring over 60 new levels, each with additional challenges. The storyline spans hundreds of thousands of years, immersing players in an epic journey.

Players will collaborate with a mysterious company that claims to be environmentally friendly, tasked with collecting as much Goo as possible. However, there's more to this company than meets the eye, and players will uncover the truth as they delve deeper into the game.

After all these years, the iconic goo balls are back. You can grab World of Goo 2 from the Google Play Store for just $9.99.
