Hogwarts Legacy will support mods and it will happen sooner than you think

Get ready, Harry Potter fans! WB Games has a magical treat in store: Hogwarts Legacy is getting mod support this Thursday! This exciting addition, available exclusively on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, will be a key feature of an upcoming patch.

The update includes the Hogwarts Legacy Creator Kit, a powerful toolkit enabling players to craft their own dungeons, quests, and even character modifications. The popular modding platform, CurseForge, will host and distribute these community-created mods, and the game will integrate a dedicated mod manager for easy discovery and installation.

Several pre-approved mods will launch alongside the patch, including the intriguing "Dungeon of Doom," promising challenging combat encounters and hidden secrets. However, there's a caveat: mod access requires linking your game account to a WB Games account.

Beyond modding, the patch also delivers enhanced character customization, boasting new hairstyles and outfits. The developers showcased examples of these improvements in a recent trailer.

And the magic doesn't stop there! Warner Bros. Discovery has confirmed that a Hogwarts Legacy sequel is in development and is a high priority for the company in the years to come.
