Stellar Blade's Festive Holiday Update: A Cozy Christmas in Xion

Get ready for a heartwarming holiday season in Stellar Blade! Shift Up is bringing the Christmas spirit to Xion with a festive update launching December 17th. This update includes new holiday-themed costumes, decorations, a fun mini-game, and a new option to customize your seasonal content experience.

New Holiday Outfits and Decorations:

Eve and other characters sport brand-new Christmas attire! Dress Eve in a stylish Santa suit, equip the drone with a Rudolph pack, and give Adam a "I'm No Santa" outfit. Complete the look with festive accessories like Snow Crystal Glasses, Wreath Earrings, and Sleigh Ear Cuffs for Eve, and a special Santa Girl hairstyle.

Festive Xion and a New Mini-Game:

Xion is decked out for the holidays! The Last Gulp and Eve's camp are adorned with warm lights and festive decorations, creating a cozy atmosphere. Enjoy the seasonal BGM "Dawn (Winter)" and "Take me away" while relaxing between battles.

A new mini-game adds to the festive fun. While details are scarce, it involves targeting a holiday-themed drone for special rewards.

Control Your Seasonal Content:

The update introduces a new setting to manage seasonal events, including the Nier:Automata DLC. In the Gameplay settings, you can now choose:

• Auto: Automatically enables or disables seasonal content based on the season.
• Disable: Deactivates seasonal content regardless of the season.
• Enable: Activates seasonal content regardless of the season.

Note: Changing this setting requires a restart to your most recent save.

Mixed Fan Reactions:

While the majority of fans are excited about the update, some have expressed concerns. Some players question the frequency of event updates in a single-player game with a relatively short playtime (around 30 hours). The requirement to restart the game to fully experience the seasonal content is also a point of contention.
