Dead by Daylight's Terrifying Junji Ito Collection: Eight New Skins

DbD Junji Ito Collection Features Terrifying New Skins From Several of His Famous Works

The asymmetrical horror multiplayer game, Dead by Daylight (DbD), is thrilled to announce a chilling collaboration with legendary Japanese horror manga artist Junji Ito. This partnership brings eight terrifying new character skins inspired by Ito's iconic works to the game.

Eight Skins to Haunt Your Dreams

For 40 years, Junji Ito has captivated audiences worldwide with his unique brand of surreal horror. Now, his signature macabre style and unforgettable characters are invading the world of Dead by Daylight in what's being called the "ultimate horror collaboration."

The collection features skins based on Ito's most famous works, including "Tomie," "Hanging Balloons," and "Rumors." Killers receiving new skins include The Dredge, The Trickster, The Twins, The Spirit, and The Artist. The Spirit and The Artist will boast Legendary rarity skins, complete with updated audio and sound effects. Specifically, The Spirit will sport a Tomie skin, and The Artist will be transformed into Miss Fuchi from "Rumors." Survivors Yui Kimura, Yun-Jin Lee, and Kate Denson also receive new Ito-inspired appearances.

Junji Ito himself was involved in bringing his creations to life within Dead by Daylight. A video on the official Dead by Daylight X (formerly Twitter) account shows Ito's delighted reaction to seeing his characters in-game, commenting on how they've become even more terrifying in their new digital forms. He even participated in a gameplay session, playing as The Artist in her Miss Fuchi skin.

The Junji Ito Collection will be available starting January 7th, 2025, on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. Prepare to be terrified!
