Each romanceable character has a personal heart meter that fills based on your interactions with them. To spark a romance, regular engagement is key. Start by **engaging in daily conversations** with your chosen NPC, which can be seamlessly integrated into your daily town activities. A little chat each day can significantly boost your bond.
Additionally, make it a point to **fulfill any requests they post on the town board**. Completing these tasks not only helps the community but also increases your chances of raising their heart gauge.
Finally, **gifting them once a day** with items they enjoy or adore is crucial. These preferences vary from one character to another, so it's important to tailor your gifts accordingly. On their birthday, presenting a gift they love will give a significant boost to their heart gauge.
Keep in mind that, at the moment, the heart gauge for NPCs can reach up to **six hearts**. Reaching this level triggers a cutscene that hints at budding feelings, though not a full-blown romance yet.
According to the game’s roadmap, future updates will introduce 8 and 10-heart events, along with options for marriage and starting a family. So, keep nurturing your relationships, knowing that your efforts will lead to richer romantic developments.
