Warhorse Studios' medieval RPG sequel launched on February 4th for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. It quickly ascended to the top ranks of Steam's most-played games, peaking at 159,351 concurrent players. This surpasses the original Kingdom Come: Deliverance's peak of 96,069 concurrent players seven years prior. The actual peak is likely higher, considering console sales, though those figures aren't publicly released by Sony or Microsoft.

Warhorse Studios celebrated the game's launch as a "triumph," indicating significant success for the developer and its parent company, Embracer subsidiary Plaion.
