Building upon the critically acclaimed, Bloodborne-esque action RPG, Lies of P (IGN rating: 8/10), Overture plunges players into the heart of Krat, just before the catastrophic Puppet Frenzy. The expansion introduces new environments, formidable bosses, and a mysterious guide, Lea, the Legendary Stalker, who will lead players through previously untold stories.

Round8 Studio's game director, Jiwon Choi, stated, "Lies of P: Overture allows us to fully explore the past and present of our universe." The announcement follows earlier teases from publisher Neowiz regarding the game's first DLC and a planned sequel. The original Lies of P achieved remarkable success, selling one million copies within a month of its September 18, 2023, launch on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC (Steam), and Mac (Mac App Store).
