Marvel Rivals welcomes an unexpected crossover: the Advanced Suit 2.0 from Marvel's Spider-Man 2!

PlayStation announced this exciting collaboration on X/Twitter, showcasing NetEase Games' adaptation of this iconic suit for their hero shooter. Originally designed by Insomniac Games for Marvel's Spider-Man, this sleek suit, distinguished by its white spider emblem, has appeared in all three installments of the series. This Marvel Rivals addition marks a surprising partnership with Sony and their console-exclusive superhero title. Get ready to see Spider-Man's Advanced Suit 2.0 in the in-game store starting January 30th – the same day Marvel's Spider-Man 2 launches on PC.

Marvel Rivals teams up with Sony's Spider-Man game.

Marvel Rivals, launched in December, already boasts a wide array of unlockable suits. However, this Spidey suit stands out. Beyond its connection to the popular PlayStation series, the Advanced Suit 2.0 will once again feature the voice talents of Yuri Lowenthal, the actor behind Peter Parker in Insomniac's Spider-Man games and also in Marvel Rivals. Players acquiring the suit on January 30th will undoubtedly feel right at home.

NetEase's inclusion of the Advanced Suit 2.0 provides players with another exciting addition to the game's content, following the launch of Season 1: Eternal Night Falls last week. This season introduced Mister Fantastic and the Invisible Woman from the Fantastic Four as playable characters, with The Thing and Human Torch arriving shortly. Creative director Guangyun Chen has also promised at least one new hero every six weeks.

While we anticipate the arrival of the new Spider-Man suit, explore articles detailing player-created custom skins, Season 1 balance changes, and a clever use of the Invisible Woman's ability to detect potential bot players.
