Marvel Rivals Season 1: A New York City Nightscape of Maps

Marvel Rivals' first season continues to expand its content. Beyond the Fantastic Four additions, several new maps themed around a nocturnal New York City are being introduced. Here's a rundown of each:

Empire of Eternal Night: Midtown

Launched at the start of Season 1, this Convoy map is designed for the game's payload mode. Players either escort or defend a moving vehicle across a dark, Dracula-infused Midtown Manhattan. This is the third Convoy map in Rivals, joining Yggsgard: Yggdrasill Path and Tokyo 2099: Spider-Islands. Points of interest include iconic Marvel locations and real-world landmarks such as:

  • Baxter Building
  • Grand Central Terminal
  • Stark/Avengers Tower
  • Fisk Tower
  • Ardmore’s Bookstore
  • Timely Trend

Empire of Eternal Night: The Mystical Sanctum Santorum

This unique map, a dark rendition of Doctor Strange's Sanctum Santorum, is exclusive to the game's Doom Match mode – a free-for-all deathmatch. Top-ranking players earn victories, with the highest scorer achieving MVP status. The map faithfully recreates the mystical mansion, showcasing its iconic features, including hidden areas, portals, and an infinite staircase. Players can even interact with Bats the Ghost Dog.

Empire of Eternal Night: Central Park

Expected to launch later in Season 1, this map features a stylized Belvedere Castle, situated at one of Central Park's highest points. Its Gothic architecture provides a fitting backdrop for the "Empire of Eternal Night" theme, potentially serving as a Dracula hideout.

These are all the new maps currently planned for Marvel Rivals Season 1.
