Marvel Mystic Mayhem is now available on mobile, developed through a collaboration between NetEase and Exptional Global. This turn-based tactical RPG introduces a Marvel universe warped by the villain Nightmare. It masterfully combines horror, strategic gameplay, and superhero action.
A Darker Version of the World
The antagonist, Nightmare, pulls heroes and villains deep into their own worst subconscious fears. Doctor Strange and Sleepwalker are at the forefront of the resistance. The latter’s inclusion is particularly fitting, as he only manifests when his human host is asleep.
Their mission is to rescue iconic Marvel characters who have become prisoners within nightmarish versions of their own psyches. You'll encounter a mix of famous and more obscure figures from the Marvel universe, with a special focus on its mystical and arcane heroes.
Gameplay begins by forming a squad from a diverse roster of Marvel heroes and villains. You'll choose from distinct class types such as Striker, Controller, Defender, and Fighter, with a strong emphasis on tactical decision-making.
Nightmare serves as the central threat across multiple game modes, which feature large-scale battles in environments filled with traps. Defeating him requires a deep understanding of his vulnerabilities and the ever-changing battlefield.
