Nintendo and LEGO have teamed up to produce some fantastic LEGO Nintendo sets. Last year alone saw the release of the impressive, moving Mario and Yoshi set, along with the first-ever LEGO Legend of Zelda set. While these are excellent, the potential extends far beyond these titles.
Currently, the selection leans heavily towards various Mario sets (including Donkey Kong) and several Animal Crossing sets. However, many other beloved Nintendo franchises remain untapped. As a fan of both LEGO and Nintendo, I'm eager for more options. For fellow enthusiasts, I ask: Which Nintendo franchise deserves the LEGO treatment next?
AnswerSee ResultsWhat Do You Think? With the upcoming Switch 2, anticipation for the next generation of Nintendo games is high. We can likely expect more LEGO Nintendo sets as Nintendo continues its investments in film (the new Mario movie and the eventual live-action Zelda adaptation) and upcoming Switch games. Personally, I believe Metroid would lend itself exceptionally well to LEGO. With Metroid Prime 4 on the horizon, it presents a perfect opportunity for incredible LEGO builds. Additionally, I'd love to see official LEGO Pokémon sets, rather than the existing MEGA sets, though I understand licensing agreements with Mattel might make this unlikely.
