The meat from chickens will spoil over time, rendering it unusable unless it's stored in a working refrigerator. Extracting honeycombs requires careful handling and transferring them to player-crafted hives made from wooden boxes. Bees are not to be underestimated, so players must don protective suits, douse themselves with water, or resort to using flamethrowers to avoid painful stings. A new weapon, the Bee Grenade, looks like a jar of honey but, when broken, unleashes three swarms of aggressive bees, sending players scrambling for safety.

The engineering workbench has undergone a complete overhaul, now boasting a dedicated tech tree for plumbing and electricity. This update enables players to construct automated systems and even entire factories, revolutionizing the way you build and manage your base. Furthermore, the developers have introduced premium servers, which are exclusively accessible to players whose Rust inventory is valued at a minimum of $15.
