Solo Leveling Season 1 Gets Limited Edition Blu-ray with Special Features

Author : Charlotte May 14,2025

Solo Leveling has stormed the anime scene, surpassing One Piece in reviews on Crunchyroll and securing 13 nominations for the 2025 Anime Awards. Nearly a year following its debut season, Crunchyroll has announced a significant physical release for North American fans. Preorders are now open for both a standard and a limited edition Blu-ray of Solo Leveling Season 1, set to hit shelves on July 22.

Both editions contain all 12 episodes of the first season along with an array of special features. However, the limited edition steelbook goes the extra mile by including exclusive Solo Leveling merchandise. Priced at nearly $30 more than the standard Blu-ray, the limited edition becomes a more attractive option thanks to discounts at the Crunchyroll Store, making both versions comparably priced.

Solo Leveling follows Sung Jinwoo's incredible journey of power-scaling within a unique "System" that selects him as its only player. The first season, which aired in early 2024, spans 12 episodes covering approximately 45 chapters of the original manhwa. The subsequent second season, concluding in March, has further boosted the series' popularity.

While Amazon lists the limited edition Blu-ray at full price—$90—the Crunchyroll Store offers a tempting 25% discount, lowering the cost to $67.49. This makes it even cheaper than the standard edition, which is currently available on Amazon for $69.99. Both editions are slated for shipment on July 22.
