"Star Wars: Zero Company Unveiled by Respawn and Bit Reactor This Weekend"

Author : Andrew Jun 21,2025

Following a minor leak last week, EA has officially announced its next *Star Wars* title, confirming both its name and the studio behind it. The game is titled *Star Wars: Zero Company*, and it’s being developed by Bit Reactor in collaboration with Lucasfilm Games and Respawn Entertainment.

Star Wars: Zero Company Official ArtThis is the first—and so far only—official artwork released for *Zero Company*. Details remain scarce, but we do know that the game will be a **single-player turn-based tactics experience**. Fortunately, fans won’t have to wait too long for more information, as EA has confirmed a first look will be presented on **April 19** at Star Wars Celebration in Japan.

Bit Reactor is a relatively new studio formed specifically for strategy game development. Its team consists of experienced developers who have previously worked on acclaimed titles such as *XCOM*, *Civilization*, *Gears of War*, and *Elder Scrolls Online*. Founded in 2022, Bit Reactor has been quietly working on this *Star Wars* project alongside Respawn, though this is the first time any concrete details have surfaced about the game.

As for Respawn’s role in the project, the extent of their involvement remains somewhat unclear. This comes after a difficult period for the studio, which saw the cancellation of its own *Star Wars* first-person shooter just one year ago, accompanied by significant layoffs at EA. Another multiplayer FPS project was also recently scrapped.

More information about *Star Wars: Zero Company* will be shared during a live panel scheduled for **Saturday, April 19 at 4:30 PM JST**, which translates to **12:30 AM PT / 3:30 AM ET** for U.S.-based viewers. Set your alarms accordingly if you don’t want to miss the reveal!
