SteelSeries Arctis Gamebuds Hit All-Time Low Price

Author : Nicholas Jan 06,2026

Ever considered swapping your gaming headset for earbuds? Just in time for October Prime Day, Amazon has slashed the price of the Steelseries Arctis Gamebuds from $199.99 to just $127.99 after a substantial 36% instant discount. This marks the best offer we've seen to date—beating the previous low of $160—and these earbuds are our top pick for the best dedicated gaming earbuds of 2025. This model works with PlayStation 5 and PC.

Gaming-specific earbuds aren't as common as gaming headsets, and in fact, this is Steelseries' first release in this category. What gives these earbuds a gaming edge is their compatibility with a dedicated mobile app (or the Steelseries GG software on PC), which comes loaded with over 100 audio presets tailored to specific games and genres. Each earbud features a 6mm neodymium magnetic driver designed to deliver rich bass and immersive spatial audio. They connect to your PS5 or PC via a fast 2.4GHz wireless connection using the included USB Type-C dongle. Like any gaming audio device, they include a built-in microphone—it performs adequately for voice chat, though it doesn't match the clarity of an extendable boom mic.

Of course, the Gamebuds aren't just for gaming. Like other quality earbuds in this price range, they support Bluetooth 5.3 and active noise cancellation. You also get three different ear tip sizes for a more personalized fit. Battery life is modest at 10 hours per charge, but the included case extends total usage to 40 hours before recharging is needed.

I own a pair of these and am quite impressed. On warmer days, I actually prefer them over traditional over-ear headsets, which can make my ears sweat—something that's not an issue with the Gamebuds.

Steelseries Arctis Gamebuds Review by Michael Higham

"The SteelSeries Arctis GameBuds excel in nearly every aspect as a versatile set of earbuds, equally suited for music and intense gaming. Their ergonomic design ensures a secure and comfortable fit, even during long sessions. They deliver impressively balanced audio, supported by features like ANC, long battery life, and lag-free 2.4GHz connectivity. While some higher-end models may offer superior audio or more intuitive controls, few earbuds cover all the bases as competently as the SteelSeries GameBuds. They're an easy recommendation for anyone looking to seamlessly transition between gaming and daily use with minimal compromise."
