Streamer Achieves Full Combo on Notorious Guitar Hero Track at Double Speed

Author : Owen May 02,2025

Clone Hero streamer and content creator CarnyJared has achieved an extraordinary milestone by completing a full combo (FC) on DragonForce's iconic Guitar Hero 3 song, "Through the Fire and Flames," at an astonishing 200% speed. This remarkable feat, which CarnyJared documented and shared with his audience on February 27, signifies the culmination of a nine-month journey of dedication and practice.

In his video description, CarnyJared expressed profound gratitude to his supporters, acknowledging the collective effort and time spent analyzing the song's 3,722 notes to optimize his performance. "I am rightfully thankful for everybody that has supported me throughout this ridiculous grind. I have the best supporters on the entire platform of Twitch and YouTube," he stated. He further emphasized the community's role in enabling him to make a living from playing Clone Hero.

The achievement is all the more impressive considering the song's complexity at regular speed. At 200% speed, CarnyJared managed to complete the seven-and-a-half-minute song in just over three minutes, a testament to his skill and perseverance. According to on-screen statistics, CarnyJared had previously achieved nearly 2,000 FC runs past the song's first bridge, 662 past its second bridge, and only 227 times reaching the solo section. The successful 200% FC marks only his fourth time passing the solo.

Reflecting on the significance of this achievement, CarnyJared shared heartfelt thanks to his supporters and family, who have been with him through the highs and lows of this challenge. He described the 200% FC as the "hardest thing" he's ever done, and his celebration following the successful run was well-deserved after such an intense effort.

For those intrigued by CarnyJared's journey and the broader Guitar Hero community, he hinted at an upcoming "1 hour+" documentary detailing his path to this achievement, expected to be released in the coming months.
